Start With What Goes in Boxes

Decorative items, books, photo frames, throw pillows, small electronics accessories, candles, plants, and decorative objects all need to be boxed first.

Fragile decorative items: individual wrapping in packing paper, pack snugly with crumpled paper filling all gaps. Label ‘FRAGILE.’

The Entertainment Center System

Before disconnecting anything, photograph the back panel of your entertainment center showing all cable connections. This two-minute step saves setup hours at the new home.

Box all cables together in labeled bags: ‘TV Cables,’ ‘Gaming Console Cables,’ ‘Streaming Devices,’ etc.
